date of newspaper Nov 1-3, 1965 Galesburg Register Mail Edward J Norton Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 10am in the Maquon Cemetery for Edward J. Norton, 75 of Middletown, Ohio, who died Saturday at 4:50 pm in Middletown Hospital, it has been announced here by the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at the McCoy-Leffler funeral Home in Middletown. There will be no visitation at the local funeral home. Mr. Norton was born July 1, 1890, at Macomb and was married to Violet West, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Edward M of Middletown and John P. of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Joan Heck of Middletown; a brother, John G. Norton JR. of Macomb Route 4; a sister, Mrs. Lucinda Holt of Bradenton, Fla. and 10 grandchildren. He had resided the past 15 years at Middletown. He was in the Army during World War I and prior to retiring in 1955 was a civil engineer for 20 years.
