'Edward Morgan (Morgan2, Edward1), of Whitpain Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, living 1774, married Margaret Rittenhouse, daughter of Matthias Rittenhouse.' Margaret was the sister of well known scientist David Rittenhouse, first Director of the United States Mint (see evidence in footnote 447).
