HISTORY: During the war of 1812, Edward was a provate in the 14th Reemint (McBoy's) of the Mississippi Militia. In 181, he was on the tax rolls of Mobile County but in 1820 Edward was on the census in Jackson Co., Mississippi and was still on the January, 1825 Census of Jackson County. in that year, four free white males, on taxable, and six free white females lived in the household. Located records account for only two of those males in 1825.
