Edward Kirk was the son of James Kirk and Ann Horton. Saphronia's parents were Benjamin Erastus Gibbs and Amanda Zipporah Purnell. Edward and Sophrenia were married July 30, 1822 in Washington County, KY. My records indicate they had 6 children. Edwards parents lived and died near Lebanon, Marion County, KY.
