    '... although Edward Ketcham lived in Cambridge at least from 1619 to 1628, he was almost certainly not born in that town or in the county of Cambridge.' The article goes on to support this conclusion, and to refer to evidence that there were Ketchams in Kent and Middlesex, either (or neither) of which could be Edward Ketcham's birthplace.

  9. He immigrated between the christening of his daughter Ann (Oct 1628) and records establishing that he was in Ispwich in 1635 (see Families of Old Fairfield). It has been hypothesized that he immigrated in 1629 (possibly on the Hopewell of Winthrop's fleet). Coddington (TAG 30:3) assumes that he moved elsewhere in England after 1628 and did not emigrate until closer to 1635.
