Acquisition of Land from Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys:
- Edward Herndon of Spotsylvania County, 10 Dec. 1747 - 25 Apr. 1748; 400 acres in little fork of Rappahannock River to Hedgeman River, to falling ground of Jobbers Mt.; adj. survey made for heirs of Capt. John Grant, Capt. Compton, George Fairfax, Esq. Chain Carriers - Thomas Corbin & Edmond Browning. Pilot - Samuel Scott. Surv. George Hume.
