    Edward Eggleston, 71, died this morning at his home near Ridgeway. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Kathleen Eggleston, instructor in the Draper, N.C. public school, two sisters, Mesdames Kate Minter of near Ridgeway, and T. D. Meador of Madison, N.C.
