Montana Standard 27 Aug 1938 EDWARD CRUMRINE. Funeral services will be conducted in the White chapel at 2 o'clock today for Edward M. Crumrine, old-time Butte accountant, who died Wednesday. The Rev. Rowland Davenport will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Moriah cemetery. Mr. Crumrine, a familiar figure in Butte since he came here more than 45 years ago, lived many years in the Owsley block. He inspected books and handled accounts for some of the best-known firms in the state. Although many persons saw him and were quite well acquainted with him, little is known of his early life. He was quite reticent. It was learned, however, through a venerable old Bible that he kept in his apartment, that he was born in Davis county, Iowa, September 30, 1868. A cousin, the only known surviving relative, is Ruth E. Hide, who was expected to be here today from her home in Riverside, Calif.
