Braley, 60, died Sunday at his home here after a short illness. Born in the Town of Albion May 3, 1904, son of Benjamin and Margret Webb Braley, he was a life resident of the area. He was a retired employee of the Town of Albion Highway Department. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Neill Braley; five sons, Earl D. Braley, stationed with the Coast Guard at St. Louis, MO, Edward [i.e. Elvard] L. Braley of Pulaski, Everett J. of Richland, Martin E. and Edward H., Jr., both at home; a brother, Jessie [!] L. Braley of Altmar; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Lewis and Mrs. Ora Neill, both of Pulaski, Mrs. Ruth Cook of Madrid; six grandchildren... Services will be... Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Martin J. Week of Mexico officiating. Burial will be in Altmar in the spring. Pulaski Democrat, 11 Feb 1965: E.D. BRALEY, ALTMAR, DIES Last rites for Edward D. Braley, 60, of Altmar, who died Sunday, were held Wednesday... at the Foster Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Martin Week of Mexico, retired Methodist pastor of the Altmar Church, officiated. A spring burial will be made in Altmar Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Neill Braley; five sons, Earl D. Braley, Q.M.I. Coast Guard stationed at St. Louis, Mo., Elvard L. Braley of Pulaski, Everett J. of Richland, Martin E. and Edward H., Jr., both at home; a brother, Jesse L. Braley of R.D. 1, Altmar; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Lewis and Mrs. Ora (Edith) Neill of Pulaski, Mrs. Ruth Cook of Madrid; six grandchildren...
