ONAWA, Iowa -- Edna P. Campbell, 95, of Onawa died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa.

Services were Thursday at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, with the Rev. Donald R. Ludwick officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Blencoe, Iowa.

Edna was born April 17, 1906, in Blencoe, the daughter of Mark and Lucy (Richardson) Steward. She was raised and attended school in the Blencoe area.

She married Hiram Campbell on Dec. 12, 1921, in Sioux City. She was employed in housekeeping at the Onawa Hospital for more than 20 years. Hiram passed away Feb. 19, 1978, in Onawa.

She was a member of First Christian Church, Elise Rebecca Lodge 222, Monona County Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of WRC. Her interests included the Bible and crocheting.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Wayne and Mary Campbell of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Floyd and Jeannie Campbell of Omaha; two daughters and their husbands, Darlene and Harlan Grandgenett and Elsie and Ben Grandgenett, all of Onawa; two daughters-in-law, Patty Campbell of Concord, Calif., and Ruth Young of Flatwood, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, LaVonne Edmonds of Onawa; and 34 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sons, Kenneth, Raymond, Leo and Gerald; a daughter, Thelma; six brothers, Ernest, Cary, Everett, Donald, Guy and Harold; and three sisters, Violet Archer, Martha Christianson and Dorothy Kepner.
