Aunt Peart ran out of money - had an uncle who gave her money every month in exchange for her estate when she died. The house that the family lived in (the same one she was living when she died) had old gas light fixtures that had been converted to electricity. Pearl had lots of antique dolls - Lois Hall remembers being shown the collection. 2 of them had kid (leather) bodies. She made the violet afghan that Lois Hall has. One of Aunt Edith's daughters-in-law wanted Lois to have something of Aunt Pearl so she bought the afghan and gave it to Lois.
