Edna Pearl (Loughner) Hice passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at West Haven Manor in Apollo. She was born Dec. 31, 1938, in Claridge, to the late Charles E. and Elsie Loughner. Edna loved going to various types of flea markets, building puzzles and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed canning fresh vegetables from the garden and making tomato soup, in her younger years. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Edna is survived by her son, Kevin (Sara) Hice, of North Apollo; four grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth, Madison, Tyler and Brianna; and many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly. Preceding Edna in death were her parents; her two sisters and two brothers; and the love of her life, husband, Walter G. Hice, to whom she was married for nearly 50 years.
Funeral arrangements will be private and under the direction of the WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME in Export.
