    MILTON JUNCTION - Mrs. Edna Louise Jewett Shelton, 72, a native of Milton Junction, died unexpectedly Sunday in San Antonio, Texas, where she had made her home with her son, James, for the past 15 years. The daughter of Henry and Alice Hull Jewett, she was born In Milton Junction Sept. 28, 1891. Her mother died when Mrs. Shelton was nine years old and she and her brother, Charles Jewett, were reared in the home of their grandparents, the late Rev. and Mrs. Hamilton Hull. Mrs. Shelton was an accomplished musician and taught music in the Milton Junction grade school, Milton Union High School and in classes In San Antonio after her retirement. She was supervisor of music in Rock County rural schools in the 1940's. Mrs. Sheldon was a frequent visitor in Milton Junction and maintained her home here. Surviving are two sons, James and Loren, both of San Antonio; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Charles Jewett, in the West; and four cousins, including Mrs. Fay Coon, Milton Junction. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Milton Junction Cemetery, the Rev. John Randolph officiating. The Albrecht Funeral Home in in charge of arrangements.
