Enid (OK) News and Eagle, 04/07/2004: EDNA G. TULLIS CHEROKEE ? A graveside service for Edna Grace Tullis, 83, will be 1 p.m. Friday in Cherokee Municipal Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Hughbanks will officiate. Arrangements are by Goodwin Funeral Home. She was born July 21, 1920, in Picher to June Adam and Grace Snow Pool Cooper and died Friday, April 2, 2004, in Milpitas, Calif. She and Clifford Holland Tullis were married March 16, 1936, in Wichita, Kan. They lived in Sunnyvale, Calif., for 25 years. He worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space, retiring in 1977. They relocated to the Cherokee-Jet area. After his death in 1999, she returned to California. She was a member of Bible Mission Church. Surviving are two daughters, Beatrice Yvonne Keuter of Arion, Iowa, and Patricia Pauline Spencer of Milpitas, Calif.; adopted children, Charles E., Roger D. and John F. Tullis and Audrey Elaine Tullis; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one adopted son, two brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be given through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division. |
