In 1903 he entered secondary school in Orillia and from there, proceeded to the Univ. of Toronto and by attending the College of Education and St. Michael's College, his vocation to the priesthood became clearly defined. On 29th June, 1916, [he] was ordained a Basilian priest. His scholarly accomplishments and his religious guidance benefitted and brought comfort to many.".
