SFC Edmund T. Gelson, US Army (Ret.), entered into rest June 20, 2004 in San Antonio at the age of 88. He was born November 30, 1915 in Flushing, NY to the late Joseph and Maude (Fisher) Gelson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle G. Gelson. Survivors include his son, Edmund J. Gelson; four grandchildren, Francelli, Mittchel, Amy and their mother, Maria Borrero, Ashley and her mother, Sandra Llamas; nine great-grandchildren. Visitation at 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 24, 2004 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
