Facts and Events
On August 14, 1862, he enlisted in company K, One Hundred and First Regiment OH Volunteer Infantry, and after ten months' service, was discharged on account of disability. He subsequently served in the 100 Days' Service, as corporal, in Company E, One Hundred and Sixty-fourth Regiment OH National Guards, and in January, 1865 he enlisted in Company E, One Hundred and Eighty-sixth Regiment OH Volunteer Infantry, and was discharged September 18, 1865.
