Edith Merle Crumline, 97, of 3235 Overman Ave., Marion, IN, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at Marion General Hospital. She was born at Miami County to Charles and Eva (Shaw) Ramsey. She married Harry F. Crumrine, Dec. 24, 1935; he preceded her in death
She was a homemaker and helper on the farm. She lived in Marion the past 30 years, and was formerly a resident of Wabash County. She was a graduate of Gilead High School, and attended Brookhaven Wesleyan Church at Marion.
Survivors include a son, Everett (Gladys) Crumrine of Marion; grandson, Dennis (Sandra) Crumrine and two great granddaughters, Trista Ferguson and Juliet Pavey, all of Marion; five great grandsons. Shawn McClanahan, Robert J. Sparks, Christian McClanahan and Mark A. Jones, all of Marion, and Keith Sparks of Franklin, IN; 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Ramsey of Denver, sisters, Geneva (George) Miller of Akron, IN and Marie Abner of Knightstown, IN. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral service was held Tuesday morning, March 19, 2002 at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, with the Rev. Gerry Shoemaker officiating. Burial was in Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset, IN.
