Mrs. Edith L. Davis
Oriskany--Mrs. Edith L. Davis, 86, formerly of East Meadow, L.I., died Tuesday in the Eastern Star Home where she had lived for four years.
She was born in Smith Mills, daughter of Daniel C. and Inez Dye Irwin. She was the widow of John G. Davis.
Mrs. Davis was a Methodist. She was a member of the Auburn Chapter OES.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Eddy, East Meadow, L.I.; two sons, Irwin, Hilton; John, Ypsilanti, Mich.
The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from the chapel of the Eastern Star Home with burial in Oriskany Cemetery.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Wells & Lloyd Funeral Home.
