    This is my aunt, she was married to my father's brother, G. Rueben Yourt. Sending the obituary just in case you two are still keeping the Family Tree updated for the Yourth's. Uncle Rueb always spelled his surname as Yourt. Our family as well as my cousins were very close to Uncle Rueb. and Aunt Edith, they alway visited with their two children every summer, their two children loved being at the farm. For many years they lived in Timmins, then moved to Toronto.

    Aunt Edith will be buried sometime in August, St. John's United Church cemetery, this is where Uncle Reub. is buried. Aunt Edith will be cremated, her ashes will be earth buried at Golden Lake.

    Yourt, Edith Cavell at the Richmond Retirement Residence, Belleville on Tuesday March 10th, 2009.

    Edith Cavell Yourt (nee Hunter) of the Richmond Retirement Residence and formerly of Don Mills, was in her 93rd year.

    Daughter of the late Alexander and Sarah Hunter.

    Beloved wife of the late Godfrey Reuben Yourt.

    Dear mother of <names of living individuals have been removed.>

    Loving grandmother of <names of living individuals have been removed.>

    Predeceased by sisters Mary Pearson, Jean Halliday and brothers Alec Hunter, Richard Hunter, Don Hunter and Charles Hunter. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Edith was a Founding member of the Donalda Club in Toronto, a competitive curler and golfer into her late 70's.

    Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1-2 p.m.

    A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 14th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation. Rev. Charles Buchanan Officiating.

    Donations to the Navy Leaque of Canada (Belleville Branch) or Charity of Choice would be apprecaited.
