    Edith Mae Seik Mickelson, 82, formerly of McDonald, died Friday, March 2, 2012, in McMurray Hills Manor.

    She was born April 18, 1929, in Oakdale, daughter of the late Homer (1900 - 1978) and Clara Mae Bentrem (1904 - 1938) Campbell.

    In 1997, she married Robert Mickelson (1917 - 2016), who survives.

    Mrs. Mickelson was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano, baking, gardening and crocheting.

    She sang with the choir at Montours Church and was a previous member of Irons Memorial United Presbyterian Church in McDonald.

    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her children, Shirley Mae Mucha of McMurray, Glenn Edward (Diane) Seik of McDonald and Rose Lewis-Jeffers of South Park; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepchildren; stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.

    Deceased are her first husband, Glen Seik (1919 - 1984); a daughter, Denise Holder (1959 - 2004); and a brother, Charles Campbell.

    Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Wednesday, March 7, in Montours Church, Robinson Township.
