EDGAR SIAS - MEMORIAL OBITUARY - Entered Into Eternal Rest Sunday, May 26th, 1991. Edgar Sias, 78, of Chauncey, died Sunday in Logan General Hospital. He was born October 6, 1912, at Atenville, a son of the late John W. and Nannie Queen Sias. In addition to his parents he was also proceeded in death by one daughter, Glenna Jean McComas; four brothers, Dewey, Curtis, Everett andMillard Sias; and one sister Vola Ray. Sias was a retired coal miner from Omar Mining Company and a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Freewill BaptistChurch. Survivors include his wife, ____ Crum Sias; one daughter ______ Johnson of Monitor; four sisters, ______ Crum of Ranger, ________ Farley of SaltRock, _______ Varney of Varney and ______ Sexton of Champmanville; fourgrandchildren, ___ ____ Pawlak, _____ McComas and _____ McComas, all ofMichigan, and _______ Callaway of Chauncey; and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the Slater-Gilliam Funeral Home Chapel at Switzer with the Rev. _______ Vance, the Rev._____ Jackson and the Rev. _______ Compton officiating. Burial willfallow in the Webb Cemetery at Ranger. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
