  3. Without a source for the death date, one can only guess the origin of this information. Since originally this page had the wrong birth date, 4 Apr 1900, the death date, by all appearances, comes from this SSDI entry [3] also gives a date of 4 April (albeit 1901), which, since it originates in Nebraska, appears to be a different person. In both 1930 and 1940, Edgar is living in Massachusetts, so it seems unlikely his SS number would be Nebraska-based.
