Obituary

Edgar D. Herbster, 55, of 1121 Allen Street, died Friday in St. Joseph's hospital following a brief illness. He was born on November 2, 1907, in South Bend. He was married on August 11, 1962, in South Bend to Janice Freeman who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. R. Carson, Seal Beach, CA, and Mrs. Ethel Ficker, Willoughby, Ohio. Friends may call at the Forest G. Hay funeral home from noon Sunday until the hour of the funeral services which will be conducted in the funeral home at 3 PM Monday. Rev. Louis M. Reynolds, pastor of the Trinity Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 235 and South Bend Lodge 294 F. & A.
