  3.   FATHER OF EARLY GLENDALE CALIFORNIA
    Edgar Douglas Goode who went by E.D. Goode, E.D.moved west in 1881 and settled first in Eagle Rock then moved to what would become Glendale early 1900's. E.D. helped negotiate right of way for Los Angeles Inter-Urban (Pacific Electric Railway) bringing trolleys to Glendale in 1904. E.D. helped found Glendale Unified School District. E.D. also brought rail transit to east side of Glendale with the creation and building of the Glendale & Eagle Rock Railway March 1909
