    EBENEZER RAWSON
    DIED
    JUNE 25, 1865:
    AGED 55 YRS.
[Note: the gravestone is a little hard to read. The memorial page gives the birth as about 1815, which suggests they miread something on this gravestone, but as his age at death clearly does not start with a '4', nor end in a '0', so no obvious misreading (3-5-8) seems to give that result, and how this birth estimated was arrived at is unknown.]

  5. Ebenezer is not recorded in the family register in Warwick, MA (Vol. 2, p. 195), so his presence in this family is based on the presentation of Crane. As secretary of the family association, Crane's presentation appears significantly informed by interviews with relatives, which may account for slight discrepancies with the records that have been found for the person of this name who was living in Ohio.
