Earl H. Werley, 88, of Zimmerman's Country Homestead, New Tripoli R.2, formerly of Trexlertown, Schnecksville and Orefield, died Sunday in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. He was the husband of the late Emma (Neff) Werley.
He was a truck driver for Robert Reichard Inc. for 48 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Heidelberg Township, he was a son of the late Edwin W. and Alvesta L. (Lauchnor) Werley.
He was a member of Heidelberg Lutheran Church, Slatington R.2.
Survivors: Sons, Ray E. and Donald A., both of Allentown, and Gordon W. and Carlton M., both of New Tripoli; daughters, Geraldine H., wife of Kenneth S. Bailey of Trexlertown, and Violet A., wife of Richard T. Baer of Schnecksville; brother Melville of Allentown; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hoffman of Slatington R.2 and Mrs. Beatrice Moyer of New Tripoli; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Richard A. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 54 Summit Road, Schnecksville. Call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
