Obituary

"Dudley Wells, aged 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wells, 1113 East Altgeld Street, died Tuesday evening in St. Joseph's Hospital of a streptococcic infection. He had been ill two weeks. He was born in South Bend, November 2, 1925. Surviving are the parents and a sister, Marjorie. The body may be viewed at the Jones Chapel until Thursday noon, when it will be taken to the residence. There will be a prayer service in the home, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Funeral services will be held in the Jones Chapel at 2:30 Friday afternoon with the Rev. George M. Anderson, of the Indiana Avenue Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery." --Kristy 17:01, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
