Namesake: Dr. Dubart Miller- the doctor that delivered him. ** In his twentys he went to school for air conditioning. Shorty was a good cook. He owned a fishing boat till he had to leave it on the side of the road (Flat tire on trailer) and someone stole his radio and nets, He never had the money to replace it, so he sold all his equipment. He worked on a tugboat but quit that job when he retired and moved to Dayton, Tx.

9/18/01Michael Lee said that Shorty had been married a total of 9/10 times. Maurine twice, 2 unk, Peggy, Sandy, Elaine 74-75, Susan 69-70, Faye, Arlene. Michael was living with Elaine and went out on a fishing boat. A month long trip ended up being a 3 month trip, He got off in Louisiana and called his dad to wire him money to get back home, But Shorty sent the Banditos to pick him up and bring him to Houston. On the way Michael found out why they were on there way to Houston. One of their brothers were getting married-Shorty to Elaine.

When Shorty owned a motorcycle it was Harley or Indian. Tippy said he never owned anything else.

Shorty was buying the house on Linda Vista. Tippy said he broke his leg, could not work and his motorcycle friends living with him would not help. He lost the house.
