Doyle Baker

Fostoria -- Doyle A Baker, 71, of 1311 Stratford Lane, Fostoria, died at 2 :32 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at Fremont Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Bettsville to Forrest L and Gladys (Fease l) Baker. He married Carolyn J Frankart June 2, 1951, at St. Wendelin Cath olic Church, Fostoria, and she survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are seven sons, John and Charles, both of Findlay; and Robe rt, Michael, Mark, Brian and Thomas, all of Fostoria; two daughters, Mr s. Bo (Jeanee) Risner, Findlay; and Mrs. Timothy (Louanne) Grine, Fostori a; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Forrest Dona ld of Burgoon; and a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Butzier, Kansas OH.

Mr. Baker retired in 1989 after 38 years as a truck driver with BOC Airc o, Sentle, and Craun Transportation.

He was a U.S Navy veteran.

He was a 1947 graduate of Jackson Liberty High School.

He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 11 97 Third Degree, American Legion Post 71 and United Sportsmen, all of Fost oria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday at t he church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Mann-Hare Funer al Home, Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 8:30 p. m. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
