Douglas was murdered in Dade Co., Florida on his birthday, March 25, 1993, as far as we know. We weren't aware of it until April of 1994 after Vicki did some investigating because we hadn't heard from him for so long. Needless to say, it was a terribly hard and sad time for the family and is to this day.
