Obit found at Find-a-Grave site, Memorial # 824388 Douglas N. Jackson, Major USAF (ret.), 64, died Thursday 29th June 1995 in Punta Gorda, Florida, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of Punta Gorda, Florida; a son, Kyle, of Boerne; and a daughter, Barbara Emmerson of Houston; also, five grandchildren. Other survivors include his mother, Lela Jackson; two brothers, Royce Jackson of Seattle, Washington, and Gary Jackson of Rockdale.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Jackson, in 1964; a son, Neal Jackson in 1982; and a sister, Betty Luckey in 1991. Major Jackson was buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio on Monday 3rd July 1995 with full military honors. He was a twenty-year veteran of the Air Force and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Born on 2nd March 1931 in Milam County, Texas, he was a 1949 graduate of Rockdale High School.
