Dorothy J. Domer South Connellsville Daily Courier (Oct/13/2005) Dorothy J. Domer, 74, of South Connellsville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, in Highlands Hospital. She was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Yoger Yauger. Dorothy was protestant by faith and member of Calvary Assembly of God Church, in South Connellsville, where she taught Sunday school and was a missionette teacher. She worked for the Blue Ridge Diner as a waitress for many years and then for Pechin Market Cafeteria for 12 years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Larry Domer of Lemont Furnace and Randy Domer of South Connellsville; two daughters, JoAnn Brown and her husband, Donald, and Sandy Ridenour and her husband, Michael, all of South Connellsville; six grandchildren, Crystal Darnell, Tammy Tressler, Dawn Stewart, Michael Domer, Michael Ridenour Jr. and Joshua Ridenour; six great-grandchildren, Ethan Crayton, Danny Darnell, Haylee Tressler, John Benjamin Goodwin, Laura Domer and Julia Domer; a brother, Robert Yauger and his wife Norma of South Connellsville; and a sister, Mary Ann Koontz and her husband, Alva "Pete" of South Connellsville; numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Vernon A. Domer in 1988; a brother, Ronald Yauger, and two sisters, Shirley Kozal and Juanita Jaworski. Family and friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional viewing will be held Saturday from 8 to 9 a.m., the hour of the service, in the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1316 S. Pittsburgh St., South Connellsville, with the Rev. Matthew P. Goldsberry officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
