Rouse Durgee, 66, of Waldrof [!], Md., died Dec. 22, 1994, in Maryland. Mrs. Durgee was a native of Syracuse and lived in the area until moving to Maryland 30 years ago. She graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy in 1946. She had been self-employed as a payroll accountant. Mrs. Durgee was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Donald L., died July 1982. Surviving are a son, David L. of Waldorf, Md.; two daughters, Donna L. Murphy of Fayetteville, Pa., and Dory L. Novotny of Pittsfield, Mass.; a sister, Ruth Robertson of North Syracuse; and a grandson and great-grandson. Services and burial were in Military Veterans' Cemetery, Cheltinham, Md. References
