When Dorothy Irene Barrett was born on July 25, 1931, in Oregon, her father, Jacob, was 33, and her mother, Anna, was 33. She married Joseph John Barrett on May 26, 1951, in Multnomah, Oregon. They had three children during their marriage. She died on August 22, 2013, at the age of 82, and was buried in Portland, Oregon.
