Biography

Dorothy Lillian Reid was born 22 June 1914 at Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota. She died 2 April 1953 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California and was buried at Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale, Los Angeles, California. She married first on 24 April 1934 at Porter, Porter, Indiana, Rollin Clayton Hultgren, who was born 5 April 1917 at Rochester, Monroe, New York. He died 9 February 1988 at Oceanside, San Diego, California and was cremated. Rollin was the son of Ralph Clayton and Marigold Tackaberry (Palmer) Hultgren.

She married second 19 February 1937 at Chicago, Cook, Illinois, Christopher Henry Jay, born 22 April 1907 at Buffalo, Erie, New York, and died 6 January 2001 at Tampa, Hillsborough, Florida. Christopher was the son of Christopher Henry Burcham and Rosa Ellen (Playford) Jay.

She married third, about 1952(?) Winford Thomas Hill, born 2 October 1903 at Russellville, Logan, Kentucky and died sometime after 1973, whereabouts unknown. Winford was the son of Robert T and Lula (Delk) Hill.

Dorothy Lillian Reid was adopted by Person:James Reid (68) and [Myrtle Jessmin Weber] sometime after her birth in 1914. The earliest known record that places Dorothy with this family is the 1920 U.S. Federal Census Population Schedule.
