He died 5 Nov. 1887 and was buried in the Putman Cemetery, Town of Lyme. He married Dorothy Putman, daughter of Philip and Lucretta ( Noble ) Putman ) who was born 3 Aug. 1805 in Lasselsville, Montgomery County, NY. She died 20 Sep. 1852 in the Town of Lyme, and was buried with her husband in the Putman Cemetery.
