Dorothy Marie (Pump) Burkin July 10, 1919 -- May 18, 2004

Dorothy Marie (Pump) Burkin, 84, formerly of Oak Harbor Rd, died Tuesd ay at Countryside Continuing Care Center.

She was born in Fremont to Claude and Lettie (Lytle) Pump and married Haro ld B Burkin on Dec. 31, 1947. He died Sept. 21, 1982.

Dorothy was a homemaker and had been employed by the H.J Heinz CO retiri ng after many years of service.

She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, Eagles and VFW Auxiliary Po st 2947.

Dorothy was interested in crafts, dancing and bowling. She loved fishin g, garage sales and bingo.

Surviving are daughter Patricia Christy of Fremont; stepdaughter Georgan na L Krueger of Albuquerque, N.M; stepson Bryce C (Gloria) Burkin of Fremo nt; sister Ruth Wojdyla of Fremont; granddaughter Rende Bare; six stepgran dchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, s he is preceded by her parents and brother Jack Pump.

Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. today at Wonderly-Horvath Funeral Home.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Quill en officiating.

Burial: Four Mile House Cemetery, Fremont.
