    It is with great sadness that we announce that on June 21, 2000 Dorothy Lorraine Downey, beloved wife of William, passed away at the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital at the age of 74 years.
    Lorraine is survived and ever remembered by her husband of 54 years, William, sons Michael (Flora) Downey, Patrick (Debbie) Downey, John (Mary) Downey, Billy (Kathy) Downey, and one daughter Julie (Jim) Campbell, all from Clearwater BC.
    Lorraine is also survived by her 13 grandchildren: Shane, Ryan, Bradley, Wade, Ben, Keith, Kelly, Michelle, Koreen, Jennifer, Nicole, Nichole and Jessica.
    Lorraine was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan August 16, 1925. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
    Lorraine also enjoyed fishing with her husband in Wells Gray Park and gardening in her large yard.
    A kind and loving lady, we will miss you and love you forever.
    Services were held June 26, in Clearwater, BC, followed by interment in the Riverview Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital.
