BIOGRAPHY: From the Rev. Canon Harold Stanley Knight (my grandfather):
"DOROTHY KNIGHT JONES
Although Dorothy is not in the direct line of this branch of the Knight family there is good reason for her being included here. Her father, Alfred, my half brother, was much older than I and Dorothy, his only child, was just three years younger than I. When we were both quite young we lived across the street from each other. Even after both families moved we lived not far apart and did much together, especially as teenagers and before our marriages. Dorothy was as near as a sister in our younger years. I have pictures, presently on the wall of my study, that should be included here later on. These are pictures of us as small children together.
I married Dorothy and Bill at Dorothy's home in Rochester, N.Y. on June 23, 1944.
Dorothy's parents were Christian Scientists. Not too long after I came into the Episcopal Church Dorothy followed. Harold S. Knight"
