BURLINGTON — Dorothy Catherine Ingold Isley, 83, of 4664 Friendship-Rock Creek Road, passed away Monday, November 5, 2007, at Alamance Health Care. She was the wife of William Milton Isley and the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillie Cobb Ingold. Dorothy was a native of Alamance County and worked for Kayser-Roth for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, formerly of the Women’s Morning Circle and taught Sunday school for many years.

Survivors include her husband of the home; a sister, Mattie I. Greeson of Burlington; brothers, Virgil Ingold of White Cross, William Clyde Ingold of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Edna I. Bouldin; and a brother, Edro Ingold.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Nathan Hooks, interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., and at other times at the home.
