    Dorothy D. Joseph, 86, of Kingsport, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday at Hillside Manor Rehabilitation.
    Born in Floyd County, Ky, Mrs. Joseph had lived in Kingsport most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Joseph was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Joseph, Sr., and her parents, Judge M.F. Hall and Melissa Hall. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Jean Hamby, Flowery Branch, GA; two sons, Edward Joseph, Kingsport, Colonel Charles W. Joseph, Jr. U.S.A.F. (Retired), Williamsburg, VA; three grandchildren: Teresa Joseph Booth, Lt. Col. Stephen Joseph, USMC, Keith Joseph and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Versia Robinson, Kingsport; and one brother, Perry Hall, Ft. Collins, CO. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown. Funeral services will be conducted at Hamlett-Dobson Chapel, Kingsport, TN, Thursday - May 29, 1997 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Ronald L. Davis and Dr. P.Y. Marchbanks officiating the service.
    Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Issam Hyder, C.M. Hyder, J.F. Combs, Charles D. Stamper, Kenneth Bingham, and Bob Bingham - Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
