Dorothy I. Fritz July 7, 1931 - June 3, 2006

Dorothy I. Fritz, 74, of Clyde died Saturday at her home.

Mrs. Fritz was born on July 7, 1931 in Sandusky to the late Elmer and Eva (Gilbert) Gilbert. She attended Clyde schools and had worked at Bendix and McDonald's, but mostly was a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Duane St., Clyde and the Clyde Eagles.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Kenneth) Noftz, Marblehead; and six sons, Robert (Diane) Kastor of Spring Hill, Fla.; Richard L. Fritz, Bellevue; Randall (Marsha) Fritz; Ronald (Carolyn) Fritz; Russell (Jane Hemmer) Fritz and Roger Fritz, all of Clyde. Also surviving are 19 Grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A special friend, Gene Hatfield of Clyde, also survives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Fritz, whom she married on June 29, 1953. He died on June 6, 1994. Two sisters, Alice Keegan and Ada Keegan, also preceded her in death. Visitation: 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church, Duane St., Clyde, with the Rev. James Belcher officiating.

Burial: Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
