- ↑ Dorothy V. Dayton, 80, of Grand Ledge, died Jan. 20, 1992 at a Lansing Hospital.
Mrs. Dayton had been a resident of Grand Ledge since 1976 moving here from Detroit. She was a member of the Grand Ledge First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Pilgrim Circle. She was a life member of O.E.S. and a member of the A.B.C. Club of Grand Ledge. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Maney, son, Joseph (Lucy) Dayton of McHenry, Ill., daugher, Susan (G.C.) Parsons of Port Charlotte, Fla., four grandchildren,; and one sister, Genevieve Dart of Grand Ledge. Services were held Jan. 23, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Grand Ledge, with Rev. John Baumgartner officiating. Interment was at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Detroit. Contributions may be made to the Congregational Church memorial fund. The Peters and Murray Funeral home, Grand Ledge, handled arrangements.
