Dorothy was the first of the seven children to be born on the farm west of Moline, Ks. She also graduated from Moline High School adn Dague Business College. During the first of World War II, Dorothy joined the American Red Cross and had many interesting experiences in N. Africa and Italy. She returned home and took a secretarial position with Beech Aircraft Co. After several months in Wichita, she decided to rejoin the Red Cross. Honolulu was her assignment this time and while living there met her husband. They returned to the States to be married and, soon after, were transfered to Los Angeles, California. In 1964, they were both moved to San Francisco. He is employed by Booz, Allan, and Hamilton of New York and she by Educational Testing Service. DOTTIE ROY Word has been received of the death of Dottie Clark Roy of Yucca Valley, CA. Dottie was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clark of Moline, KS. She attended Star school and was a graduate of the Moline High Schoo’ the class of 1930. After leaving Moline she was a member of the Red Cross for several years. She later made her home in Yucca Valley, Ca., becoming amember of the Hi-Desert Playhouse Guild, Inc. She was also a board member of the Morongo Basin Ambulance Assn., a lifetime member of the Friends of the Yucca Valley library, and a member of Hospice and the Unity Church of Morongo Basin. She leaves two sisters, Nell and Alice and a brother, Albert and a host of friends and relatives. References
