    Doris McBride-Gordon, 84, of Jonesboro, AR., died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

    Doris was born Feb. 2, 1929, in Steele, Missouri, and she had lived here in Jonesboro for the past four years, moving here from Hot Springs Village. Doris was a member of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Hilda Zahner.

    Survivors include her daughter, Diana Ray Dawson (Donald) of Jonesboro; sister, Phyllis Zahner Winter (Donald) of Steele, Missouri; grand-children, Tracy Palermo Metzger and Michael Scott Palermo; great grandchild, Connor Metzger; nephews, Thomas Winter of Dyersburg, Tennessee; Jeffery Winter of San Diego, California.

    All services were private under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
