The Witter family sadly announces the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother, Doris Witter, on March 18, 2017, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Chuck, loving mother of Char (Deb), Tom (Cathy), Rob (predeceased Karen, partner Sandy) and Jim (Becky). Grandmother to Tyler (Lindsay), Arden (Dave), Meagan (Mat), Ryley, James, Roslyn, Ryan and Luke, and great-grandmother to Claira and Violet. Mom instilled in us what truly is important in life, family and friendship. We will miss being spoiled by her love and generosity which was expressed in so many ways including her historical baking and family dinners, gatherings in the beautiful Blue Mountains and her memorable festive Christmas celebrations with stockings hung by the chimney with care. Cremation was prearranged and a family and friends celebration will be planned at a later date. The family sends our sincere thanks to the staff of Idlewyld Manor.
