Granny worked in big houses as head cook, she cooked for george bernard shaw and royalty. She was about 5 foot 2inch loved lily of the valley, would kill you if you scrubbed her roasting tin and like her tea made with tea leafs. She used to slice her own bread and she could get it so thin you could see the butter through it.
