Mrs. Dora E. Anglin

Mrs. Dora E. Anglin, 83, of 861 Alpine St. died at 11:20 pm Thursday in Mercy Medical Center.

She was the widow of Leo M. Anglin, who died in 1955.

Services will be at 9 am Saturday in the Church of the Nativity here, with burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery at Otter Creek. Friends may call after 3 pm Friday at the Siegert Funeral Home, Seventh and Bluff, where the Scripture Wake Service will be held at 8 pm Friday.

Mrs. Anglin was born at Otter Creek, and was a member of the Rosary Society of Nativity parish.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Patricia) Madigan of Boulder, Colo.; a son, Walter J. Anglin of Dubuque; five grandchildren and a brother, James Stokesberry of Maquoketa, Ia.

Mrs. Dora Anglin burial held

Mrs. Dora E. Anglin, 83, 605 Bluff St., Dubuque, died Wednesday, August 22, at 11:20 pm at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held from the Siegert Funeral Home to the Church of the Nativity Saturday, August 25 at 9 am. The Rev. Anthony Wobeter and Rev. R. O'Brien officiated. Burial services were in St. Lawrence cemetery, Otter Creek, with Msgr. Houlihan officiating.

The deceased was born June 13, 1890, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stokesberry at Otter Creek. She was married to Leo Anglin in St. Lawrence Church on October 17, 1932. They lived in the Otter Creek area for many years, retiring to Dubuque in 1969.

She is survived by one son, Walter Anglin, Dubuque, and one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Patricia) Madigan, Boulder, Colorado; a brother, James Stokesberry, Maquoketa, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leo, who died in 1955, her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
