Final Rites For Mrs. Huddleston Held Monday

Mrs. Dora Peterson Huddleston, 72, widow of the late PhineHuddleston, Ward 10 member of the police jury for many years and a leader in WinnParish politics during his lifetime, died at her home in Ward 10 unexpectedly at2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 1966.

She was a member of the Yankee Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the YankeeSprings Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. D. W. McDaniel, officiating,assisted by the Rev. Coda Salter of Tullos and the Rev. W. L. Fussell of Ward 10.

Burial was in the Yankee Springs Cemetery under direction ofEdmonds Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were Bobby, Douglas, Donnell, Otis, Jr.,and Harold Peterson, and Joe Hughen, all nephews of the deceased.

Mrs. Huddleston is survived by three brothers, Otis Peterson ofWinnfield, Dayton Peterson of Saline, and Aubrey Peterson of Goldonna.
